I havent shopped here in a while. The quietness of the centre puts me off from visiting as I hate walking around in the silence whilst shop owners are looking glum.

This centre is not the greatest. Their is a lot of empty shops and it is always so empty, with businesses coming and going all the time. It is a real shame as it has great potential, although i feel that the new Arndale Centre will just kill it off completely.

I had a friend who had a shop in the enterprise centre for 2 years and it was the worst decision of their life! They are now in debt due to lack of support and the continuous lies about footfall. I feel so sorry for the small businesses who are not being looked after, and are trapped here.

I have visited the centre a couple of times to order balloons for a party, buy bits from the fancy dress shop and have a snack at the café run by Joyclyn there is hardly anybody walking around and l wonder how do these traders manage to survive

I look around once a month but have been disappointed lately by the amount of empty shops!

I use the car park a lot during the week as it is a quick way to pop into the high street without the stress of a multistorey car park. I admittedly do not ever go inside the centre as there is nothing in there for me. It always looks empty. Maybe make it a bigger car park?

50000 customers a month? what fairy land do these people live on? you would be luck to see 500 a month!

I agree! There has been loads of times when browsing that I have been the only person in the centre. I feel so sorry for the small shops who are having to put their prices up to cover the extortionate rent.

I have not been to this centre in a few months now! I didn't enjoy walking around by myself. I can't actually think of a time when I have visited, and there has been more than 3 people in the centre.

I agree with the author. Times I have visited there has been no one else in there apart from myself and tumble weed!

I used to pop into the fishmonger after work, but havent been in since he has left due to no customers. Every time I visited I used to feel awkward walking around as I was the only one there. I hope after the road development outside that more people realise this place is here.

I enjoy going to the thai place upstairs during lunch with work mates but downstairs always seems really quiet.

I havent been to the centre for years as there never seems to be anything inside that interests me. Every month all the shops change, so I dont visit as much as I used to anymore.

My friend used to own the dolls house shop here. He sadly closed due to no customers passing by, which is a real shame as he was promised the 50000 customers that is advertised on the website!

I use the car park a lot when picking my son up from the train station and never go inside the centre as there is not a lot in there.

I visit Roly Polys often as it is the only independent baby shop located in Eastbourne and I am heart broken that they will be closing down in January due to the lack of support from the Centre themselves in regards to promotion. Every time I visit I am usually the only person in the shop, and I am one to talk so will be in there for an hour or so. I hope things improve for everyone! It will be sad to see another one go.

I visit Jocelyns cafe regularly, and I hate seeing how empty the centre is becoming after years of visiting her, I am 67 years old and have been supporting Jocelyn since she opened and have seen many businesses come and go in the centre. I do hope things improve for the better of the small businesses which are trapped here.

I use the car park regularly and am guilty of not going inside before I pay for my ticket. The car park prices are really high which means I can't afford to browse around.

The only shop I visit is the butchers, and when visiting I never see any one else in the centre. It is a real shame as there is some lovely shops here who are being let down by the Enterprise Centre.
