I visited the centre today, and disheartened to see fewer and fewer shops within there! Where have they all gone? It is the summer time and empty? It is such a shame, and I feel really sorry for the shop owners.

I had refrained from commenting on this but now feel it's time. I am furious with the management company. I am an ex-trader trying to re-build my life after they ripped me off, consistently lied to me, seriously affected my health by causing untold amounts of stress, and crushed my dreams of having a shop and watched me get into thousands of pounds of debt. They are still letting people move in here on false promises, that they know won't be able to run a profitable business and will end up in the same scenario. Now I have a business that is beneficial to some of the others in here the management team have the cheek to frown upon me working with their tenants and are threatening to make me bankrupt over £1000 that's left to pay back. This is crazy, I'm trying to earn a living to pay them back and they have to make me feel awkward about even going into the centre. How are these people allowed to still trade in the town. They should be banned from Eastbourne they do nothing to help anyone but themselves and don't care about the local economy.

It is a real shame that this centre is always empty. There is such beautiful businesses inside who are suffering! I hope they do not suffer, but have been made aware that the rent is extremely high for very little return.

I HAVE LIVED IN EASTBOURNE FOR 7 YEARS, AND HAVE ONLY BEEN TO THIS POORLY MANAGED CENTRE TWICE. ON BOTH OCCASION THE PLACE WAS EMPTY, WITH LITTLE TO SEE AND VERY FEW WALKING AROUND. THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A FOOD HALL OR A CAR PARK FOR THE NEW CENTRE NEXT DOOR.

Awful centre! I've had many friends who have had businesses here and are now bankrupt due to the poor management of the centre. There's no events here like there used to be! It's really sad as it used to be a beautiful place.

I went into the centre today, and I am saddened to hear even more businesses are closing! It is always so quiet in here, and I only go in once a month to see Jocelyn and her fabulous staff.

I visited this centre today, as I used to love going there as a child with my mother but it was very quiet and there wasn't much variety like there used to be.

I visited this centre today, and was shocked at the little presence at 11am in the morning. After reading some comments it is clear that this is a regular problem. I just wanted to let everyone know that it was just my wife and myself walking around this morning. God bless!

I visited this centre for the first time in years, and was very disappointed by it all. There was no one walking around, the shop keepers looked very tired. I do hope it gets busier during the summer months! My husband uses the car park often to collect his prescription.

I live behind the centre, and walk through it as a short cut to get into town. When I'm walking through I seem to always be the only one passing through. Shops change all the time in here.

I miss when the market used to be here in the car park but it seems money from the car park is more important now. I feel sorry for the small business owners who are struggling in there

I don't ever go into the centre but use the car park as its in an easy location and close to town. The few times I have been inside the centre it seems like I am the only one walking around which puts me off going in.

Having a business here was the worst decision of my life! I am still paying off the high rents and debt 3 years later. Nothing but crooks!

I am glad I found this online! The Enterprise Centre is a horrible place to set up a business! Avoid it. The management here will do or say anything to get you to sign on the dotted line, and guess what? Once you have signed you are stuck! Trapped. Don't be a fool and look elsewhere.

I had a friend here who was badly burnt by this centre. She was made bankrupt by the management when she left, as she couldn't afford to feed her kids let along the high rent she was paying! I hope things changes for the better, cause this used to be such a lovely centre.

I had a clothes shop here for over 3 years! It was a disaster. Every year things got worse and worse! I had no way out, and the management were not interested as long as I was paying my really high rent. I used to see about 20 people a week if I was lucky. AVOID!
