Roger was a pioneer! I'll always remember John Madden heaping praise on him as the most complete & well rounded RB in the game in 1991, iirc. On a team filled with stars he was able to stand out in a big big way. Rogers accomplishments justify HOF, can't keep him out just because the 49ers were loaded with HOFers. Put him in !

Before Faulk or Tomlinson their was Roger Craig. They both owe Roger some respect for showing the league the value of an all purpose running back.

Without his highstepping going up the middle, niners may not have done what they did. Just like Tom Rathman clearing the way for him.

As a native Nebraskan and follower of Huskers in the NFL it baffles as to why others less accomplished than Roger Craig are in the HOF. Is it because he wasn't flashy and out spoken seeking attention like say Dion Sanders. On ESPN'S Most underrated players he is 2nd, people commented on trying to tackle him was like trying to tackle a mule do to his drive and high pumping legs. He set many firsts that others in the HOF have since matched, you would think the original, would have been a shoe in..... stop playing politics and do the right thing. Hopefully this doesn't fall on deaf ears or blind eyes.

The Cowboys, 49’rs and Steelers were some of the best.
