Simply, it's players/teammates/colleagues like Roger who make up the fabric of winning teams. Selfless, and makes good teams even better. His style of play gave us a glimpse into the future of how the Running Back position - and the game of football as a whole - would evolve.

So sad that a legend like Roger Craig is not in the Hall of Fame. It seems to be more of a popularity contest instead of a skill or based on accomplishments. What a shame.

My kids and I always had Sunday night football night to watch Roger Craig take the field. I thought he was already in the HOF a long time ago. Imagine my disappointment.

Since I was a small kid, I remember hearing about Roger Craig, the three time super bowl champ with 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in a single season. In 1985 and even today there is only one other person that accomplished this. Maybe 14 years later? I am not sure how he is not in the HOF.

I'm not sure how this doesn't have more votes. It's symbolic only, obviously but this needs some serious help. Show support for getting Roger Craig into the Hall of Fame

I am beyond sad that this hasn't happened yet. I grew up watching Roger Craig with my dad and in my opinion, he was/is one of the greats that helped pave the way for what the NFL is today.
In 1985 he became the first football player to have over 1,000 yards rushing and receiving
3x Super Bowl champion
4x Pro Bowler
Offensive player of the year in, first-team All-Pro, most yards from scrimmage in 1988
Led the league in receptions—as a running back—in 1985
The All-decade team in the 1980s
Come on let's get serious here, that is a pretty significant resume even now, not to mention this was in 1985!!!!
