I'm a frequent vistor and surf at Dogpatch whenever I'm in Southern California. the current regulation is completely unfair, I'd like to see it overturned totally permitting equal access to all surfers, but this change makes a ridiculously unfair situation at least tolerable. How the lifeguards get away with enforcing a restriction like this on disabled surfers is beyond me.

Be fair and share.

The proposal is reasonable and appears to be happening on a regular basis in spite of the location of the signs. This would proposal would support fairness and equal access to waves for all riders

This is a reasonable proposal and ensures access for all.

Please sign the petition to move the OK sign to the beginning of the volleyball courts north of the "pink poles" -Due to the loss of parking, there are now very few (or no) prone surfers in front of the pink poles, so the impact to prone surfers would be very minimal. -Bob & I will create and pay for a sign to use during the Volcom surf camp. -There are far more SUPs / paddle assisted craft (and the numbers will continue to increase…) -The surf on the south side of the OK sign is frequently flat or very small -There is now a conflict between where the Disabled Parking / ADA Access is now located, and the OK signs (because of the loss of parking) -There are constant conflicts with the lifeguards trying to enforce the OK sign zone, - All these conflicts would be unnecessary if the OK sign was moved to the north.
