Can this be a thing for Yerba Buena High School too? Because I would love the middle road option.

I'm a Milpitas High Student and we don't have any programs like that at our school and we have English 4. It is a requirement course to graduate and it does benefit students a lot!

Not to offend this subject but ERWC is a really useless class due to the fact that the topics and contents contained are pretty unnecessary it helping the students learning about writing and literature. English 4 is a much more practical option between the two classes. Surely enough a large majority of the students do not favor this class over others since it does in fact teach information that will not help as much as compared to English 4. As a student that has formally taken ERWC, I can say without a doubt it is the most impractical class I have ever taken in my high school career.

ERWC was literally the most pointless class that I took in high school, and I got nothing out of it.

As an upcoming junior, many of my peers have the daunting task who had taken AP Lang their junior year and have to decide between the extremely challenging AP Lit or the underwhelming curriculum in ERWC. If English 4 were an option, more students would be driven and not in the class they did not actually want.

Bring Back English 4

I would have preferred the English 4 curriculum rather than the ERWC course.
