End Parma's Winter Parking Ban

There are never tickets given on actual snowy days!

I believe the ban should only go into effect on nights of snow precipitation.

5 months with no parking on the street over night, is just too long especially when there is no snow. I can see if it is snowing and the plows need to get through but when there is no snow, you should be able to park.

Please ban the snow parking ban it makes no sense really especially if there is no snow on the ground

Can you just implement a 2in parking ban?

Most Driveways in Parma were not designed for two car family's. This would help ease that morning fiasco in the winter of moving cars around.

I think the ban needs to be adjusted to when snow exceeds 2 inches. I don't think it should be by dates as it currently is. I live by idiots who don't follow the ban anyways and continue to park in the street when we are in white out conditions...perhaps enforcing it based on accumulation would help!

The parking ban makes winter very difficult. I live in a duplex with a 2 car garage. Total there are 5 working adults in the duplex. I also have a 1 year old who can’t be left unattended as I move my car constantly every time someone goes to work or needs to leave. I work at the hospital where I work days, nights, weekends, holidays. Last night I worked until 1a at the Hospital so I was last in the driveway, well everyone needed to leave this morning for work so a few hours after getting home from work in the middle of the night I was out moving cars again. In the couple hour period that I could have slept my 1 year old woke up as well. I can see why it’s easy to say there is a parking ban for single family houses. For duplex’s it is difficult.

2" or more. I'm a single mom and I have 4 drivers in my home and a very small driveway; I can't afford tickets, nor can I afford to have to pay a fee for the privilege of parking in the street in the winter when there's no snow on the ground.

I cannot have my out of state family to my home for the holidays or my children's birthdays because of this ban. My driveway only holds 2 vehicles. When my children are of age to drive, what am I suppose to do with their vehicles in the winter when there is no option to expand or lengthen my driveway? Completely understandable when storms roll in but almost impossible to accommodate when there are none.

I’m all for this parking ban; except when the forecast has 0% chance of snow; when there’s a snowstorm I’ll park my happy butt in my drive

I park my work vehicle on the street when there's no snow

If heavy snow is expected absolutely get off the street but otherwise allow parking and no ticketing !!!!
