This ban is a major inconvenience to our family as we have 4 cars and 2 parking spaces which means we need to borrow neighbors driveways too and do the first to work car shuffle everyday too. I can understand having it when it snows but when it's 60 in November it is not necessary!

Makes no sense when there is no snow on ground. Parma just looking to take money from residents. They know that with these times, many households have to have families members move back home to make ends meet. These causes multiple cars per households, and different work start times. Many already moving out of Parma, do not think Parma wants more moving out , over a law that makes no sense.

This ban is especially hard when you have a large family with several cars. This ban has our family doing the obnoxious car shuffle several times during the early morning when this ban is in effect. We have family that works until 2:00 am and family that leaves at 5:00 am. and this ban makes for a very crappy beginning to the day.

The parking ban makes no sense when there is no snow on the ground. It is just another way for the city to try to make more money off of the resident's that live here.

I understand when the weather is bad the streets need to be clear. The way the winter weather has been in the past few years there were no major snow storms. You could easily have the ban from December to April if needed.

I believe that if there's no snow on the ground then people who only have driveways that aren't long enough to park in should be able to park in the streets.
What's with 2:00 am time slot it should be later like 3:00 am till 6:00 am. Also on Holidays when kids aren't in school there shouldn't be any parking bans people coming from out of town for Christmas New Years and Easter to remove the parking ban for those times.

Yes this parking ban is really not necessary. Especially where there is no snow. And this makes for families a real hardship when there are no room for cars in the driveway.

The extent of this ban is ludicrous. The nature of the restriction requires our family to move and reorganize our vehicles several times daily, even when the 10 day forecast does not even dip below 40 degrees in the winter. The city is trying to reinvent itself and it would do well to revise this ban so that it better suits families with several daily-driven vehicles (wherein carpooling is out of the question due to the varying commute times and locations) while still allowing public services vehicles to do their job effectively and safely. You are the seventh largest city in one of the countries largest states. Surely you possess some available manhours to devote towards taking a better look at this archaic policy.

I think there should only be a parking ban when we have enough snow that requires a snow plow to clean the streets

Having the ban start on Nov 1st is ridiculous because especially in my neighborhood their not going to plow our streets anyway..same goes for March and April..December thru February would be acceptable
Agreed, it should be based on accumulation.
