Following recent revelations of diet-based deaths in size zero models and the commendable actions taken by Milan and Madrid Fashion shows to clamp down on size zero and unhealthy models. The London Fashion Show has decided not to follow suit. I hereby add my name to this petition and declare that the designers, organisers, and funding organisations of the London Fashion Show should ban size zero and unhealthy models (those with a BMI under 18). I believe that they have a moral responsibility, to not only protect vulnerable young girls and women from aspiring to unhealthy lifestyles and body ideals, but also to the oppressed models who struggle to unhealthily achieve the size zero image.

The feedback from those who have signed this petition continues to highlight the urgent need for a shift in industry standards. I am currently compiling the concerns expressed here to present them formally to the organizers of the London Fashion Show.

The momentum behind this petition highlights a growing consensus that the fashion industry must prioritize the health of its models over outdated aesthetic standards. This collective response confirms that the public expects accountability from the organizers of the London Fashion Show.

The "naturally thin" size zero people could get a doctor's certificate that they are completely healthy before being accepted to do modelling too.

health comes first. if they are dangerously thin they shouldnt be on a runway end of story.

I used to work in the industry and honestly the pressure to be impossibly thin is just toxic. ban this nonsense now.

Too many girls getting eating disorders because of these unrealistic standards. About time we changed this.

it sends such a wrong message to young girls who look up to these fashion brands. nobody should be forced to starve themselves for a job.

DESIGNERS NEED TO WAKE UP. real women have curves and shapes. stop promoting skin and bones as the only way to look good.
