AMERICAN FOOTBALL is a sport that has grown and continues to grow worldwide and beyond it original borders. As a matter of fact, American Football is now very present in Africa and our beloved country - NIGERIA.
All over the world and expecially in the United States of America, there arr many Nigerians doing great in American colleges and most get to play in the major league of American Football. Most of these players left from Nigeria and started the sport late in their lives. By endorsing the sport here in Nigeria it'll open doors of opportunity for the Nigerian youth to compete for and outside the Country.
The sport is now growing rapidly in Africa,with some factions here in Nigeria, let's support the cause to retain Nigeria as the "Giant of Africa" in sports entertainment.
The sport is also a great opportunity to give the young and energetic Nigerian youth, an outlet of recreation. Keeping them off the streets and out of trouble.
It is the single, most team-oriented sport on the planet. Leading, teaching and galvanizing team work, collectiveness, discipline, structure and stability amongst the players.
Male and female, regardless of any child's cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

The signature count has reached a level that commands attention from the National Sports Commission. I am currently preparing the formal briefing document to present to the Ministry representatives next week.

I'm a proud player or this sport, and the spirit of this game has helped me both academically and in my off pitch life.. It's a lucrative venture that needs investors. Therefore I think it should be endorsed.
I am a player of American football,I love d game and it brings opportunities 4 youth to go back to school nt in Nigeria alone BT even in d united states of America and it keeps d youth out of trouble and get them busy and making them responsible and also it is a means of livelihood.
It is absolutely splendid to have American Football to be inscribed into the fabric of sports in Nigeria. It will be a good platform to enhance youths talents and develop sporting characters like team work, discipline, concentration and skill development. Therefore I sign this petition to bring American Football to Nigeria.
As an American Football player in high school, football thought me a few life skills that helped me transition into the military; football ball thought me how to be a team player, it thought me how to put all I got in line for the individual next to be. God bless Nigeria

I have played this sport in europe and now back in Nigeria. It is a sport that teaches discipline and molds the lives of young men. I hereby move the motion that it comes to stay.
