Slavery is something very prominent in today's society, and right now, the slaves in Libya need our help. Although it is illegal, those in power are still managing to get away with enslaving others, when they have no right to do so under any circumstances at all. People are being sold for $400, or otherwise auctioned off to the highest bidder. This is a strict violation of many of our human rights. Article 4 clearly states "No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms". We need to take a stand for those who cannot fight for themselves. By signing this petition, you will help create a difference by sharing a voice in trying to end the slave trade specifically in Libya. Everyone deserves their freedom and right to life, so let us all lend a hand to those in Libya, to help free them from their chains, and start living the life that they're entitled to.
