I currently have 6 horses that were sold at auction. 1 is a 35 year old Thoroughbred and another is a pregnant mare, the other 4 are loving caring trained and able to be ridden. Why they were dumped there I will never know. I can only thank God above that they came to me and are enjoyed, respected, respect me, dignified and very, very loved. I just could not imagine how anyone could kill one of mine for food and I stare at them every day and send a prayer for thanks to God that they were not. This is so very wrong and should never happen as they were not bred for food nor are 90% fit for food due to the drugs in them but paperwork is just signed away by these kill buyers at auction stating that to the best of their knowledge they have never had drugs in their system but I can guarantee that they do. Mine are my companions, my friends and my inspiration. I will continue to do everything I can to keep them safe and find forever homes for them as they deserve this. Stop the slaughter, hold people accountable and make it stop!!!
