Stores across the GTA have extended holiday hours. Some malls are now required to open at 9am and close at 10pm. While most of the general public work between the hours of 9am and 5pm few if any individuals come to the mall to do their shopping at 9am and then they do not want to be out shopping until 10pm on a week day. These hours are during an already stressful time and workers should have the right to working reasonable hours. With more shopping being done online and most done in stores during the weekend with the changing times these extended hours should be reconsidered.
