This is starting to affect local businesses and making it more difficult for the less able people to get to the local shopping centre.

This system is just making the main road traffic worse and taking longer to get anywhere . It’s not actually stopping people from getting their cars out and walking.

Council made a mess with these roads and to do it in lock down when people can't appose them is cheap underhanded trick ,now who can have faith in a council that behaves like that , not me ,makes people hate the council.

A barrier has gone up right outside my house on which means I can no longer turn right, the direction that I would head for 90% of my journeys to join most routes. The alternative as 10-15 minutes onto every journey I make, adding to traffic and congestion on those roads. I cycle when I can, unfortunately I have some health issues that mean that walking most places is unmanagable for me, so much as I try to limit my car use, I do have to use it for journeys, and the irony is that I'll now be using it for longer each time. Add to that the fact that it has made absolutely NO difference at all to the horrendous traffic from the primary school across the road, who all disregard the barrier anyway, it has only had negative effects here and not reduced the amount of cars in the area at all.
If you're going to have anything, maybe have barriers that local residents can register their cars to access etc, which would still stop roads being used as a rat run by all, but without causing so many issues for the people living on those roads.
I seriously hope the scheme as it currently stands is reconsidered because it has brought only negative effects for me.

All these do is push the traffic to other areas and cause mayhem and congestion. Also causing more admissions from the queues of cars.

As a cyclist I was initially in favour of the LTNs. Not anymore! Trying to cycle past queues of stationary gridlocked traffic pumping out fumes for me to breathe in is terrible for my health, so much so that I've decided to use my car more often, at least it has air filters! Also badly affecting my business too with customers unable to get to me on time. Let common sense prevail for once and remove these blockades asap!

It is grid locking certain places. More pollution, more frustration and it does not work for the emergency services. Does someone have to die before the barriers are removed ?
