End traffic barriers in Littlemore and Cowley

Disrupts traffic and causes stress for those who need to travel to work

Traffic isn't great in Oxford as it as by closing down roads will cause more traffic. I think council should make a link road from Eastern by pass to barns Rd and coming off aswell. Littlemore Rd Rymers Lane should be left open as other roads are very busy with traffic eg cowley rd Iffley rd.

Please listen to the people who actually live in these areas and not people that don’t but want like me the idea of these restrictions. I pay my road tax and I want to be able to use the road.

These things are ridiculous and need to go asap

They’re not needed and have ruined the way the streets have been used for many years. Complicates routes and makes it difficult to go from A to B more so than it needs to be! Get rid!!!!!!

This is causing so much more traffic on other roads. Open the roads back up! I live off Temple Road and to get home is a nightmare.

I had to take my 85 year old mum for her COVID vaccine and due to the closure of numerous roads and having to take a huge detour it made us late, causing her to feel stressed at a time when she really did not need it. This new road system makes no sense. The main roads will be more congested. How can that be good for the environment. Surely the council has better ways of spending money rather than making life more stressful for those that need to travel to care for elderly relatives in a time when they are already feeling very isolated. This project needs rethinking for the sanity of everyone

Road closures are a complete disaster, They need opening for access to Cowley from Littlemore.

Quickest failure ever and not yet out of lock down, already a build up of traffic in the area

Now to get to my mum (who is 97) it takes about 20min instead of 5mins

For over 20 years I have been voting labour & it’s time for a change with elections coming up in may I will not be voting for labour. why would you close Crowell road & batholomew road these are 2 big roads going into Cowley from Littlemore and littlehay road it has created more congestion on the main roads open up all the roads that’s why they were made for to flow traffic not to close them and congest the roads

I oppose the LTN. They have added 1 hour to my journey to take my kids from Giles Road in Littlemore to East Oxford Primary School. That is an extra 15 mins there and back two times a day. This is now during lockdown. It will be worse when lockdown ends and people return to office working. I work in Reading and need to drive my kids to school for 8am and then drive to Reading. When office working resumes my journeys will be a nightmare. More congestion, more time in the car, more pollution. This is not a green policy. I also do not understand why littlemore cowley road, which is the main road into Littlemore is blocked. Littlemore does not have a dentist, pharmacy or doctors surgery. You have closed off access to all of these things for disabled people who have to go cowley centre, blackbird leys or cowley for these things. Littlemore has poor public transport links too. This is a very badly thought out plan.

Complete carnage and a waste of time.

This is a hazard, people that need emergency care will have to wait longer for emergency services to get to them.

My house is on one of the streets that will get the 'displaced' traffic. How is that fair to my children? It was already as busy as before lockdown this morning. It's going to be solid when things get back to normal. We already feel as though we're collateral damage for these stupid schemes.

I do not understand why crowell road is now shut off for cars , this is the main route to Cowley
