Hi. What an awful time to trial anything. We’re currently in a global pandemic. With Oxford being such an international and student oriented city, this trial makes no sense during a time the city’s traffic isn’t as full capacity. It all seems okay for now with no students or international tourists visiting the city, but once everything is back at full capacity, offices in the two business parks reopen, student accommodation is full and people are travelling with no restrictions, we will see why this an awful idea. I’m happy to see some restrictions to be put in place, IE cricket road, where schools are, but the others make zero sense and is only passing on the traffic to other roads such as Oxford road and Iffley Road.

This is too much, difficult for the resident plus no permit for someone who works as a self employed with a van

This scheme is ridiculous. I live on Crowell Rd and the benefits are zero. There has never been a serious accident in the vicinity and you are causing more pollution to the other roads as drivers are spending more time on the roads now. Traffic is a nightmare on all main roads around these areas.

Since these roads have been closed it has made a 2 minute drive become a 10 minute drive. I am highly objective to these road closures.

Although I live in Littlemore on a gated estate, I travel through the areas effected by the LTA's and the reality is that the whole thing is ill-conceived - yes - some streets do get less traffic but others get much more than ever expected - and the extra noise and pollution inflicted on those residents is inherently UNFAIR because inevitably it will effect not only their health but their property values.

its a nightmare all traffic is built up on cowley road. They care about people live on these streets but they don't care about people live on cowley road. Its more pollution more traffic jam on cowley road. These should be removed as soon as possible.

Whoever came up with the idea of these barriers, should be sacked. They may have stopped the rat run, but made the congestion worse.

All you are doing with these closures is pushing the traffic elsewhere which will result in clogging up already busy roads. I truly do not understand the reasoning behind this.
