Longer journeys will cause more pollution and the new routes just add more congestion to many roads eg. Newman Road, Cowley Road, Between Towns Road. It's also madness that they've virtually cut Littlemore off altogether, absolute nonsense.

I think its a total waste of tax payers money i have lived along this route for over 40 years. Resurface the roads rather than block the routes. Wont last or at least i hope not.

I had a nightmare trying to get from cowley center to littlemore the other day who ever thought of this needs the sack!!!

Installing so many at the same time even in lockdown is just pushing the problem on other peoples doorstep, it is causing build up on Oxford road now, when all shops are open again it will be so much worse

A badly thought out idea, no consultation with local business. They need to reopen Crowell Road up or redesign the Rosehill roundabout as it now takes me an extra 10 minutes for me to travel to work, walking or cycling is not an option for me, and this is before all traffic has returned to the roads after easing of lockdown.
Since these have come in, traffic on the Cowley Road has built up noticeably. Journeys are taking longer, which means more emissions from the increased traffic jams.

Definitely a hinderance in us ambulance crews getting to addresses! The ambulance sat navs do not update with road closures
