People forgot about there are two schools around there and a busy park.
And yes, those people have to drive to school who live in Headington, Blackbird Leys or Littlemore. NO THEY CAN'T TAKE A BUS IT WOULD TAKE AN HOUR AT LEAST FTOM HEADINGTON AND ONE CHANGE.

I am an NHS support worker, I work in the community and in the last month it has become more difficult to do our work with all these roads closed. The pandemic was already in our day to day.

As a disabled person i rely on my car to get to cowley shopping center this has now caused a 1/4 mile trip to be 3 so more pollution and shifting more cars onto one road

While I understand the need to reduce traffic in certain areas all this is doing is moving the problem elsewhere onto other roads and areas.
Its creating more problems than its solving.
I work in community care and I can tell you this has directly effected the way we have to work and increased travel time (we have no choice but to drive because of the amount of PPE we have to carry!).
These barriers certainly dont look like their temporary - looks like the council have made their decision!

I work as a care coordinator in this area, this has affected me. It has made my journey to my clients house longer and unnecessary. It has also increased my mileage each day and has changed my clients times.

These road blocks are madness & will just cause chaos & huge traffic jams on surrounding main roads like Oxford Road, Church Cowley Rd, Henley Ave, Hollow Way, etc.. I have to regularly use those roads for work - it is going to make all our lives hell.

A complete waste of money, all it has caused is a shift of traffic problems to other roads in Temple Cowley. Especially Hollow Way, which was heavily used before the introduction of this pathetic scheme, now it is much worse.
