Get this idiotic scheme stopped asap. Traffic is constantly queuing on the Oxford Rd Cowley making life difficult and causing more pollution and noise. It takes ages to get anywhere now, I pay a lot of Rd tax and should be able to drive where I need to. It's very difficult for emergency services, carer's etc too.

LTNs cause deaths and increases pollution since idling causes 20 times more pollution per car. https://www.oxford.gov.uk/info/20299/air_quality_projects/1258/anti-idling_air_quality_campaign/3 “A councillor outlined a case where someone actually died after an ambulance was initially unable to get through one of these barriers”: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-56590849 https://www.itv.com/news/meridian/2021-03-22/calls-for-review-into-road-blocks-after-ambulance-delayed-getting-to-emergency

The LTN, particularly the block on Littlemore Road, is ridiculous. Roads are for using. Stop making it harder for ordinary people to get to work, the shops and take their kids to school. We're not all just driving around for fun. If the council wants fewer people driving maybe they should invest some money in public transport.

The LTNs will bring disruption and grid lock to the Cowley area. This is not the way to reduce traffic in these areas

These barriers made my DN work experience terrible! How many times I can't get to a patient's door?! I had to leave the car and walk, often in the rain. And what about the postie's, the delivery men, and esp. the emergency services?!

It took me 1.5 hours to get home from night shift, usually takes 15 minutes. Ridiculous. Blackbird Leys now isolated

The excess traffic congestion on my road is polluting the air. Now having to use my inhaler again.

It felt like we waited an age for the emergency ambulance to arrive a couple of weeks ago. If this had been a heart attack there would have been no chance of survival. Stupid and not thought out idea. On top of that look at all the emissions coming from cars who are having to drive an extra mile or so to get to their destination!

Ridiculous those LTNs not doing any good causing more hassle getting about than before why do we pay road tax if we can’t access the roads

Traffic is horrendous most of the areas where are quite neighbour hoods so just pushing more cars onto the main road travel time has doubled or even tripled not everyone can cycle or walk to do there job or school runs its ridiculous just a way for greedy councils to squeeze money from people with the fines it’s all about the money

Causing more pollution, as cars are back to back On church Cowley road, from 8am to 10am and 15.00pm through to around 20.00 week days. And week ends are even worse.

I am opposed to the Ltn. I live in Hendred street and have Blood Cancer and a compromised immune system. Since the LTN was installed, the pollution and stench has increased Tenfold.

LTNs are completely unjustified. They only cause additional traffic, gridlock and misery for residents. Sold under the latest mania for lower emissions, despite electric vehicles becoming the norm. A convenient way to ignore greater infrastructure issues

LTNs not only divides communities but negatively impacts those who drive for a living in and around Oxford.

These LTN are very dangerous for the emergency service as the would have to go the long way around to get to their destination where someone's is waiting for emergency ade and the situation could be a life and death
