Divides communities. It is ridiculous the only way in and out of Herschel crescent is now Newman rd, that previous had been narrowed. Not sure if blocking Crowell rd is why the 16 has stopped and you are now sending a double decker number 5A down these streets. Seems badly planned by someone who does not know the area

Disabled people have enough to deal with without being forced miles out of their way to make what used to be a simple journey! Costs are increasing and no one cares.

These schemes are ridiculous. By blocking these streets all you're doing is funneling traffic into bottlenecks that were already busy, making drivers take long, slow detours that result in a far greater level of pollution. Just because one street is now quiet doesn't mean it will be clean as clouds of fug MOVE. The children so frequently mentioned by those in favour of these schemes might now be able to "play in the road" (no but seriously, roads are not ever for playing in, that's what parks are for, that's a ridiculous and dangerous ideal that's just a hangover from decades gone by when there were far fewer cars in existence) will now be breathing in these fumes, as will everyone else. If people want quiet residential streets they shouldn't be living in the middle of a city. It's like moving next door to a pub then complaining about noise.

The LTNs are making certain areas far more congested (including the one I live on) and are segregating neighborhoods. They reduce routes to the hospitals and have a negative impact on the local businesses.

A foolish and anti social idea if ever I saw one. The cost of which should be borne by the councillors who came up with it.

These barriers create so many more problems than the ones they have naively been designed to reduce the divisions between communities are most felt by those of us living in the outskirts of the city, those in favour of these mostly are vocal people with good access to amenities and facilities and we beg those in power to listen not just to the vocal it literate people who want to live in quiets streets but to the disabled, elderly and less able members of the communities that have been isolated by the planters

More pollution is caused as we now have to drive through Rosehill to get to Cowley Centre, and again, longer routes to get to Blackbirds Leys!
Why weren’t we (the ones who pay for council tax) asked about this prior?
This was the worst decision they have made!
Remove these. End of debate.

End LTNs. Just pushing traffic elsewhere and doesn’t allow for roadworks!! Terrible idea that doesn’t work in the real world!
