Traffic jams are terrible around cowley. Ten minute car journey now takes 40 minutes to an hour . I feel sorry for the local businesses. This definitely needs a rethink.

Surely the amount of extra time we are all spending sat in traffic is raising the emissions that the council want to reduce!

This traffic measure is incredibly dangerous especially for emergency vehicles and has just displaced the traffic elsewhere. Honestly it's a pain in the arse. Mobile care workers can't do their jobs on time because it takes twice as long to get to clients.

I am in my car roughly 7 hours extra a week ! I will not be going back to swimming because the changes have doubled the length of time both to go there and return home!

Very inconvenient, causes heavy traffic through littlemore and cowley, causing extra pollution, and long delays..
Why on earth would the council closed a road that has been perfectly fine over so many years, if it’s to benefit the residents they should of chosen to live in a cul de sac not on a main through road..
Rediculous...

Due to increased traffic it is proving very difficult to cross cowley road at the junction of crescent road by the police station. Impatient drivers have almost knocked me down on several occasions

These LTNs are nothing but a waste of taxpayer's money. Apart from the increased journey times and hassle that others here have commented on, there has been absolutely no thought put into what it does to the routes that the traffic is being diverted to. Take Hollow Way for example; all the traffic that earlier used Crescent Road, Junction Road and Temple Road is now ending up on Hollow Way, causing queues all the up to Barracks Lane. Feel for all the residents of Hollow Way who are now inhaling the fumes from stalled vehicles, plus the noise and dust from all these extra vehicles. No change in signal timings at Hollow Way / Oxford Road seem to have been implemented to help ease this congestion. By arbitrarily shutting down roads, you're simply moving the problem elsewhere and making it even more concentrated on those alternate routes. Roads are meant to be driven on, and we pay road tax for this use; what an absolute nonsensical idea to please a few posh lobbying cyclist groups and shut down roads causing absolute mayhem for the masses. Jericho's experimental LTN is rightly coming to an end; so should the Church Cowley, Florence Park and Temple Cowley LTNs!

Waste of money and causing very long queues on my road so no safer for me or my children and making a simple 20 minute commute (that yes I do need a car for) to over 1 hour
Take them down let the cars travel freely on the roads that is what they were built for

They are causing a lot of anxiety for me being disabled and getting out for simple tasks are now longer, therefore using more of my already diminished energy, incontinence issues are greater as more time in car, pain again duevtona five minute journey now extended to 30/40 minutes. Not just for me but so many others - carers, tradesmen, delivery drivers, parents just trying to live! Ridiculous as making more traffic so churning out fumes on others roads. GET RID OF THEM!

The LTNs are a hammer to crack a nut. The reasons for implementing them do not relate to any real problems but is a political wish list that has been imposed on the rest of us without consultation.
I’m a carer and have to travel to numerous clients homes throughout the day. Since the introduction of the LTNs I now spend a lot of time stuck in traffic, without being able to find an alternative route. The restrictions mean I also have to travel a much longer distance because fewer roads are open to me.
Worse still the LTNs have increased my journey time, not by seconds, but by anything from 5-30 minutes each journey. This can result in increasing my work day by an hour or more, and of course impacts my ability to manage my time efficiently in order to provide care for elderly and vulnerable adults.
If the impact of the LTNs are already this bad, what an earth is going to happen when things go back to ‘normal’ and everyone goes back to work?
The net effect of these closures will make it very difficult to do my job, let alone do it efficiently, and means I will have to give up being a carer.
Please put a end to these barriers..... it's made the traffic worse not better!!!
