The signers of this petition hereby call upon fellow church members to quit overreacting to perceived sleights when popular culture employs familiar insider symbols in parody fashion to promote some outside good or service. It further calls upon said members to study church history, as well as global religious and civil contexts, to get a better sense of what religious persecution really looks like.
