A girl who was friendzoning the hero for 15 years,who rejected him to choose another guy,who is always complaining about him because he´ll never be good enough for her and who speaks about minor issues and cries about love while her friends are murdered in front of them,is a shame of heroine and a unhealthy and dependent relationship. Don´t you realize the main couple should be an example for thousands of people?it´s a shame, women aren´t like that

Season 1 Iris was great, but they have made her character so controlling and manipulative. Barry doesn't feel like a hero any more since they got together and he ignores his friends when they need him. They are terrible together.

Iris is very toxic. She doesn't care that her own child worked for the murderer of her husband's mom! She forced him into therapy, as if he didn't go to enough, while growing up. She didn't start living him until AFTER she read some stupid byline, found out about her and Barry being married on Earth 2, and AFTER FINDING OUT HE WAS THE FLASH. Everything has to be about her. He saves the world, she gets mad. She has disrespected the dead MORE THAN I CAN COUNT, in celebration of her own selfish gain. She was willing to leave Barry for dead in the speedforce, until Caitlin returned and wanted to bring him home. THEN she snapped at Caitlin! Iris makes no sense. She is never there for him when he needs her. It's always CAITLIN who is at his side!

WestAllen is a toxic couple for the simple fact that Iris West is a selfish, superficial woman who only thinks about her feelings and what is good for her, a person who would rather have a whole city destroyed by SpeedForce just to have her precious marriage and not pass embarrassment in front of friends, a person who saw the man he loved at the time, Eddie Thawne sacrificed himself to prevent the Reverse Flash was successful in his plan to kill Flash, a wife who says in the face of her husband Barry who does not care of their daughter Nora working for the murderer of the man's mother she says she loves. For me this is not the behavior of a loving and caring companion who supports the companion on his journey as a superhero.
