Many forget that for hundreds of years, Native Americans have been disrespected and discriminated upon in so many ways. Since the days of Christopher Columbus, where him and his people killed hundreds of thousands of Native Americans who were already living here for their land. Native Americans have done nothing wrong to anybody. They have always been so spiritual and respectful to all people and cultures. Many take advantage of them because they are such nice people. The United States Government should take a step back and listen to these indigenous people and protect the land of Standing Rock of the Sioux Tribe in North Dakota. The government should stop the North Dakota Access Company from constructing this pipeline. The government should take into consideration that this land has been sacred to thousands of people for hundreds of years.
