How about a compromise? Change the time by a half an hour next time and then never change it again!

I desperately need this time change, as my mother suffers from sundowners. She gets scared, nervous and anxious to the point of causing her blood pressure to rise and hormones such as adrenalin to
be released unnecessarily. She worries I'm hurt somewhere, or that I'm not coming home and she'll be alone. She calls the police, one day broke out the front door window screaming for help. Another day Walked out of the house looking for me in the forest in the dark, where a neighbor luckily found her sitting in a snow drift on snow covered ground 10 degrees outside All because one day the time changed and now it's dark when I get home. I've had to start leaving work early and losing pay. I think that this should be the biggest part of the reason to stop the madness, and could be a big reason to convince the state to move quickly. Over 76,000 people in Colorado suffer from this. I have started writing letters to any and all elderly health care providers to support this. I didn't realize you had this site. I will include it in all of my future letters.

It took me forever to find this petition... what can we do to draw attention so you get the signatures needed?? I HATE changing the clocks!

I would love if we would stay on daylight saving time! I would be willing to gather signatures if needed.

Time change does not save any money, it is better for people to stay on the same time year round, fewer health issues, no more fussy children
