End the corruption. Make a difference. Give the power back to the people. By doing away with secret ballots, and making it public obtainable information of who voted for who. A credible, and fair count could finally be achieved. We as a people do not live in an age where a secret ballot is necessary. Think of the actual "change" something like this would bring. (Besides, are not most folks proud of who they voted for anyways?) There are also too many people that will not even take the time, or make an effort to vote, because they feel as though "their vote will not make a difference". This is the only way everyone's vote will truly be accounted for, and there will no longer be any kind of reasonable doubt as to who was elected and or, what has been voted for, or against. Some laws would needed to be changed yes, especially those dealing with the issue of intimidation, and job security, but this is the fairest, and most just way any kind of change for the betterment of our system will ever occur.
