If it is a really hot day, students are not able to wear clothes that will be less warm. Students might get too hot and might get heat stroke. If they are able to wear loose or shorter clothing it would be a much better school day.

Preach we should not be changing just because there is boys they can't stop us from wearing what we want.

I live in Pleasant Hill and would like to see our city and our schools lead the way in gender equality and non-discrimination. Please consider revisions to the dress code policy.

I have a son and a daughter. I've spent a lot of time around them and their friends- boys and girls. Never once have I heard a boy say leggings or bra straps were "a thing" that attracted them to any girl! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder which means simply a smile, hair, tall, small, skinny, heavy, personality, smarts... these are the things boys AND girls find distracting and attractive.
We do not live in a church state and our public schools are an inappropriate place to teach girls, or boys, that a girls body should be objectified by the clothes she wears! Body shaming should not be a part of rules and curriculum. Respect, social etiquette, and personal boundaries should be taught by example by all adults from day one.

Maybe next we can make them cover their faces and ankles?
This is nuts....

My body is not distracting any students or faculty and I shouldn't feel ashamed for wearing a bra or having legs.
