End the new timetable in St Ives school. Make staff value the student voice.

The Student voice in St Ives school is not valued. When opinions are expressed about the way our school operates we are shutdown and told to do it the ‘right’ way. The right way is speaking to your head of year or form tutor. It’s writing an email to the head or joining student council. Whenever we do these things whenever we do things the ‘right way’ nothing ever changes we’re brushed off. The majority of school is opposed to the new timings of the school day. This opposition isn’t baseless. Some of the reasons for this opposition are as follows. The ridiculous corridor congestion around the canteens. The scrapping of majority Lunchtime clubs. The lunchtime clubs that still run such as Choir have no time to be productive. Transition toilet queues being large and being able to go and still being denied to go to the toilet during lesson. People with study time first lunch have three lessons in a row. There are more issues that we won’t bring up to the length of this passage l. We oppose staff ignoring student opinion.
