Since 2004 we gamers have had to endure year after year of poor representations of the game we love the most. The day that EA monopolized the NFL and NFLPA licenses was the end of competition and the end of progressively better games being made to represent the sport of Football.
We have gone through an entire game system generation and the same issues that have been in the series since 2004 are still present today and some of the reviews have been fair enough to actually state these problems.
In the beginning of this generation EA sold stripped down version of the game because they could afford to do it and while they claim they will not do it again, the reviews show that what we have is once again an uninspired game with cookie cutter audio, commentary and a game that lakes features that competitors games had back in 2004.
If you are tired of paying EA for the privilege of playing the only Electronic Football game in town then please sign this petition. my hope is if we can get enough signatures we can send it to the NFL and Roger Goddell and hopefully get this changed so that we do not have to play a sub-par game for the next 9 years.
I believe exclusivity of team licences in sports video games destroys equal competition. Equal competition is needed for a competitive market where game companies and developers are able to focus on making the best game they can for the fans, and succeed by producing quality games and not by having a monopoly on licences.

The monopoly is killing the genre. There is zero incentive for them to fix bugs or add depth when they have no one to compete with.

EA just puts out the same roster update every year and charges full price. It makes me sick.

Please let 2k and others make a reasonable NFL game.
