The awareness raised by the KONY 2012 campaign of the conflict in East Africa is invaluable. However, this campaign advocates supporting the US and Ugandan government capturing Kony using their militaries. I believe this will not solve the problem but will bring more violence to the region. An effort must be made by the governments of all nations involved as well as the UN and UNEF to bring this conflict through diplomacy, not through war. By signing this petition you are calling on the governments of the USA, Uganda, South Sudan, DRC, and CAR a well as the UN and UNEF to end this conflict and bring all war criminals involved to justice using diplomacy instead of military intervention.
