These videos are gratuitous, ignorant and deeply distressing to people who live with visible differences. YouTube should understand that videos of this nature and the hurtful comments they attract are harmful. YouTube should respect the wishes of anyone featured in these videos to remove content that contains images used without consent. YouTube and the creators of these "Shock" videos are taking no responsibility for the very real emotional harm that these videos cause. My students have been lucky enough to meet Mui Thomas, who lives with Harlequin Ichthyosis. Thanks to her efforts they at least have some understanding of the real issues surrounding visible differences and cyberbullying.

I have met Mui personally, and she has a better personality than most "normal" people. It is quite shocking that anyone would do this.

We should always respect people and help those victims of cyberbully. This is NOT ok to discriminate or laugh at people's visible differences. Be kind to people around us:)

The videos often shown on U Tube are dreadful and posted by despicable people. They have nothing better to do than try to shock people who have nothing better to do than watch these clips and videos, and enjoy causing hurt. Not all videos on U Tube are bad but it seems like more and more of them are malicious. This must be dealt with. Not all of us are sick in the mind and want to cause pain to others.

behind Mui's campaign 100 percent. These videos are crass and beneath serious comment - I don't want my kids seeing this kind of crap. Mui is an inspiration - take them down.

These people make me sick. Shame on them for trying to humiliate others. Well, now let's hope that YOU get humiliated!
