END “Shock” videos on YouTube, NOW

Mui, this is a great cause and you really put it in perspective for people who don't understand how harmful these sort of videos are. Keep doing your thing and good luck :)

Using images of people with visible medical conditions without the permission of those people for shock value is disgusting in multiple ways. That practice should be banned on YouTube similarly to blatant "gore" videos or animal abuse.

We all look the same inside! No need for utube to make people see others differently.

I sincerely hope the best for you guys, just know that for all the beings who unfortunately have decided to not tolerate and accept you as of right now, there are just as many who are inspired and delighted to be able to witness an example of such strength and grace under such circumstances. I can only hope to one day possess the same traits to the extent you do, so please take care and keep giving the rest of the world something it can aspire to be like!

I was born with a bilateral Cleft Lip & Palate. My parents, like Mui's, did a fantastic job of raising me to believe in my own value. However, others in the world at large are less kind, and I still - at age 36 - find myself upset by things I see and read online. Please don't provide a platform for YouTube users to dehumanise others. None of us can take credit or blame for how we look or what medical conditions we have, and people should not be allowed to marginalise those of us who already struggle to fit in. Mui, keep doing exactly what you're doing! Your courage and tenacity are inspiring. <3

Mui is an amazing person and someone we should all look up to. It's sickening to think that her pictures were used without permission for such a hurtful, insensitive video. YouTube should do the responsible thing and end these "shock" videos.

There's no excuse for bullying and harrassing anyone born with a birth defect, an illness or from an accident that makes them look different from the rest of the world.
