That video does absolutely nothing productive for anyone. It is no better than a circus freak show capitalizing on other people's misfortunes and allows people to point, stare, and make rude comments and ask intensely personal questions they would never ask of someone who doesn't appear different to them. Those are REAL PEOPLE shown in videos about "horrible diseases," and yet that video reduces them to nothing more than the equivalent of a horror movie. Shame on you and anyone else who participated in that video being seen. You're no better than the people who made it.

"Different" is not horrifying. It may be different from what you know or are used to, but "different" isn't a qualification for entertainment. Educate yourself. Ask questions. Be respectful.

I strongly object to the posting of people's faces and information for sensationalist purposes, and without their permission. It is not allowed in commercial print publications and should be allowed on the Internet. We need to institute serious penalties for those who do this.
