Much has been invested in Ft. Benning at all levels of government and by the local community. The large investment in infrastructure improvements is not leveraged if troops are withdrawn from Ft. Benning. Columbus believes in Ft. Benning's mission and we support the mission. Removing troops and their support personnel and resources from Ft. Benning is counter-productive to the overall mission of defending our noation.

Without sufficient military personnel our National Security is at risk. A budget is one think the security of U.S, citizens should be a concern of all of our congressional leaders. Support our military without sufficient military numbers and the support they need we are compromising our security.
