Why don't they do cuts in Ft. Jacks One? Columbia , SC has plenty things todo and can afford it. Columbus is already struggling with nothing for teens to do. Then they wonder why these young youths are always in trouble. We need a Dave and Buster a park with go carts, and miniature golf. Columbus stands to loose a lot like businesses. Please mess with the states that can afford this

We, the United States citizenry, need and demand a strong military force. Reducing the military here at Fort Benning is counter-productive to meeting our needs for security.

The economy of this area will be devastated by such cuts. This area supports our military. We have a great relationship that has been developed over many decades. At the present time the world is anything but staple. When need a strong military presence to ensure our safety. The United States is at the center of many threats from multiple terrorists organizations.

A reduction of forces at Fort Benning would wasting billions of taxpayer's dollars. The upgrades to the installation facilities would not be properly utilized. With the threat of international and domestic conflict increasing daily, I do not want our armed forces cutback to the point of not being able to adequately defend our nation. Do not take our military back to post-Wold War I & pre-World War II ineffectiveness, I opposed the Sequestration.

This does nothing to help the United States of America. The entire world already sees us as a weak nation. Do not prove them right.

I am very much in favor of keeping Fort Benning strong. There should be no cuts to personell,, military or civilian.

This is a sad thing for United States,we must maintain a strong and very visual military. I'm a Navy vet and I served our country under President Reagan's administration. He was a leader who believed in the God and country,we must project a military that can respond to any threats to our country and any country that should need us. If we don't have a very strong and quick response to trouble spots around the world, other country's may loose respect of the U.S. So I'm in support of no cut backs,we should increase our military personnel. We must pray this does not happen. MN 3RD Class Tim Treadwell

There are many other areas in which to cut spending - national security should be left alone!

Ft. Benning is vital to our national security, and it does not need to be weakened with threat levels at such an all time high.

We need our troops! They need us! They help protect us when we need it so lets help protect them by signing this petition.... It's really sad that this even has to be done it should be no question...our troops are what protect us when we are threatened... If you reduce them then we have a lesser chance...not only that if you reduce them you are laying them off which is creating unemployment so do you see the cycle now the economy is going backwards again because you are laying thousands of our troops off because of a budget cut. Take that budget cut out of your pay check and keep our troops they are more important.
