Russia and China are strengthening their military, and we are reducing ours. There are many things in the national budget that can be cut that won't hurt our national defense.

Always have and always need our military forces to defend this great nation. A reduction in force is greatly going to effect an American way of life all across America. Especially, your military towns that are surviving off of the military, such as Fort Benning. I am a Columbus native and Fort Benning has always been a way of life for Columbus please Defend the Fort!!!!

Ft Benning is part of the Columbus community. Pulling this amount of people and jobs out will hurt this town tremendously . our security threat is very high why would at in this time of need and we need to be on high alert would the government downsize now. the safety of the united states is very much in jeapardy. please reconsider this solution

I have witnessed the downsizing of Brookley AFB & Craig AFB and the effects on each community with ill effects and YEARS to regain stability. Please reconsider sequestration.
