I live in the tri-city area, Phenix City, Al, Columbus, GA, and Ft. Benning. The DOD's sequestration at Ft. Benning will adversely affect our economy with civilian losing their jobs and the reduction of our army troops at Benning. I pray that reconsideration of this sequestration will be not be experienced in our communities. We cannot afford the loss of both army troops and civilian jobs.

We have more enemies than ever before. Downsizing our military is insanity gone amuck. Ft Benning is vital to the safety of the US and to the economic well-being of Columbus. DO NOT REDUCE OUR ARMY.

By taking away fort benning, they would be taking away many jobs in the Columbus area as well. A good percentage of the people living in Columbus only came here because of some connection to the military base.

I currently work overseas due to this issue and many others. As a retiree I would love nothing more than to work as a DA civilian supporting our nation's Soldiers at Fort Benning.
