The government has many duties, but none are second to protecting American Citizens and their interests. The best defense is a strong offense, and you should all be ashamed of yourself for allowing this to happen.

Too much strain is placed on military leaders, planners, and training when Troop levels are allowed to shrink too low to handle global military missions. Too many taxpayer dollars have been spent to turn Fort Benning, GA into a state of the art combat maneuver center...the best in the world...what a waste to cut Troop strength even more than what is already proposed.

Ft.Benning is part of the fabric of this community. The soldiers and their families are supported and appreciated by our citizens. Please GROW Benning, not reduce its funding.

Soldiers cannot continue to deploy over and over again and the world shows no sign of peace coming soon. Do not reduce our forces to an overworked, skeleton crew. This is not the time to cut troops.
