Please confront all white on black OR black on white racism in the school system immediately. Also, help the young adults learn that racism is not just a black & white matter but can happen with ANY TWO DIFFERING SKIN TONES. Please use punishment that is meaningful & memorable to these young people. Commerce City has been a mixed culture for a long, long time & this type of thinking has no place in our fine system.

I'm a Commerce alum,this doesn't sit well with me. Enjoyed all the ppl and fun times I had at Commerce but hearing that we have ppl that go to the school that support racism is truly ignorant. Whoever made the post should def be suspended

I attended Commerce before, and my parents moved me away from this school because of this very reason! Coach Steve Savage; former head coach of Commerce High School football was an OPEN racist to black players, and students from Commerce. Rumor had it, that he held "Letters of Interest" from Colleges that was recruiting black players from the area. Commerce is a hot spot for KKK members, Aryan Brotherhood members, an just flat out rednecks. Something needs to happen. It needs to happen fast!

Commerce City Schools, You are absolutely obligated to take measures towards expelling these students. Shame on you for letting it get to a petition and not staying in front of the issue. Shame on you.

Students get in trouble (at school) for posting certain things on social media that is not near as offensive as this post! Clearly her parents are doing their job so the school needs to step in and help this girl before she gets out into the real world
