The extortion by men and women of the Nigerian Police Force has become so loud and the silence by the justice system even louder. Their targets? Young Nigerians trying to make a way for themselves. The youth are no longer safe, our businesses suffer because we're victims of police extortion. Please tell us when it became a crime to be young and enterprising?

It's getting so bad more than our businesses and peace of mind are threatened. Our lives are threatened too. And it has graduated to a point where we're no longer safe in our own homes and there's no one out there to save us?

Be happy for us #StopPoliceExtortion

It's pretty bad that hardworking young men can't walk the streets of our own country without being harassed because we are wearing a cap, driving a car or using an iPhone. It's sad

If we are threatened by the very Police meant to protect our cities, then they need to be checked, psychologically, mentally and in all aspects. Enough is Enough, the gun is not more important than the human right

The rate at which Edo state police officers in particular are harassing youths in benin city, ekpoma and other parts of the state is becoming alarming, when they see you driving without proper investigation or an arrest warrant stating what you've done wrong, why will just arrest you.... The most annoying part is them stoping you and searching your phone or laptop to find any picture of a white person, be it that person is related to you or not they will assume that you are a fraud star.... It will make me and I am sure millions of Edo youths to see this form of uncalled for embarrassment is dealt with soon.

The Nigerian task force is now a daylight extortion ring. Lastma, Lamata, Nigerian Police. What's my offense, you don't know your offense. You will know when u get to our office. They no longer ask for license and registration, no time for nonsense. Your offense na 125k, how much you get to talk. Our offense is simply young and getting it. Driving good cars.

10 policemen blocked me, seized my vehicle THEN extorted 15000 from me for 'allegedly' speaking too much english. This was while i was trying to argue the fact that i never parked like they alluded.

Police in Benin have now replaced armed robbers. Modus operandi: they invade random houses with fake search warrant, accuse you of being cultists/yahoo boy, intimidate and extort money to close the 'case' . What a shame. Apc govt, education should end this shame. Our socalled Justice system is silenced because it involves average nigerians but they invaded some judges home and hell was let loose.
