Invasion of privacy-!! Feel like the CCPD already has enough free reign for its officers that constantly speed around above posted speed limits when not heading to a priority call- I have dash cam footage pretty much every time I get near a CCPD car they are driving excessively over the posted limit on any given day on any given road- they write tickets for citizens going less then 5mph over but they run 10-20mph over constantly- wish there was something that could be done about it-

I feel my personal data could be shared worldwide and that's frankly very scary. No person should feel safe knowing everytime you pass a flock camera you independence as an American Citizen is in jeopardy. Stop this voyeurism, it's creepy and proven to enable creeps who have access to Flocks platforms. Remove all Flock and AI technology based camera systems from our public roadways, parks, etc. and leave people in peace.

I’m pretty against Flock cameras in Chesterfield. Beyond being invasive, I think there’s a Fourth Amendment issue with the government creating a searchable record of where people are driving when they aren’t suspected of any crime. Seeing a license plate in public is far off from a system that can reconstruct movements is another. That issue is already being challenged in Virginia courts, and I don’t think Chesterfield should push the envelope while the constitutional question is unresolved

I oppose the use of Flock cameras in our county because I believe widespread, warrantless tracking of residents’ vehicles raises serious privacy and civil-liberties concerns. While public safety is important, creating a searchable record of where people travel can easily go beyond its original purpose without strong limits, transparency, and oversight. I do not believe residents should have to give up this level of privacy simply to drive on public roads.
