If you read the CDC guidance for flu or any other disease spread by droplets, they do not recommend masks for even high risk people. The reason, because it encourages people to touch their face often which is the number one factor in the spread. This was also the concern of the WHO when mask mandates came out. And it is certainly obvious that people do not and could not use masks the way they are intended in the medical field which is one use only and then throw them away. I am convinced that in hindsight we will find that mask mandates were a contributing factor to the spread, not a protective device. And can we discuss viral load. The CDC defines an exposure as being within three feet of an actively symptomatic person for 15 minutes. Why 15 minutes? Because you have to have a certain viral load to even get infected. Who stands that long with a stranger coughing in your face at Publix?? So why is it spreading then? Because that’s what viruses do. And it spreads amongst those we are closer to for long periods of time. Not a passing stranger. AND CAN YOU PLEASE ENFORCE WHEN UNABLE TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING WHICH IS NOW 3 FEET! I shouldn’t have to be forced to wear a mask when I am already in compliance by social distancing. Perhaps this is the reason everyone know the mask mandates are crap.

For Me Personally.. it’s Extremely Difficult to breathe wearing a Mask! I feel each individual should take responsibility and make the choice best for them! Appreciate this Petition!

I live in Hillsborough County and I am demanding the County Commissioners remove the mask mandate and stop infringing on my 1st Amendment Rights.
