End lifetime Bowling ban of Maurice Sweetman

At the beginning of 2011 a local league in Liverpool (Litherland Civil Defence Bowling League) banned Maurice Sweetman aged 67 indefinetely for as Captain of his team selecting an illegible player to play in a cup tie. The league had a meeting and deceided his fate. There was an appeal made to the league but the same body of people who sat at that appeal (which is wrong) over-ruled his right to have the ban lifted. The BCGBA have not been of any help and we are asking for bowlers around the country to help get this absurd ban lifted. The game is on a decline and Maurice is a great bowling character of our game and should be able to play in his locality. All of you who have had the pleasure to have met Maurice will know he is a great guy and full of life. He regrets the mistake and cannot see why this ban cannot be lifted.
