Also many are in violation of the space requirements to even be using fireworks.The other issue tied to this is many local jurisdictions are the responsibility of state police or limited local jurisdictions who during the 4th of July have to focus more on drunk drivers ...so if you do call them about fireworks ....the drunk driving issues are more of a priority for them..

The double standard has to stop. We spent 3 months wearing a mask to protect those around us...But fireworks have harmed folks and Wolf is turning a blind eye...Makes no sense!

I moved to York from Richmond VA earlier this year. I wasn't prepared to hear fireworks on my own block every single night. My dog is terrified. I've had to call the police a dozen times. I can walk out front door and watch groups of people set them off on the sidewalk. I wish I'd never moved here.

It's not just on the holidays. It's any time of the week and late at night. And now we have a huge fireworks store open Year round to supply their habits!
