This policy discriminates against my rights and seniors in general who in their life time have never had an at-fault accident or been convicted of traffic offences.

I feel that drivers of any age who have broken traffic laws are the one who should take regular tests. This should not be automatically determined by age.

Another money grab that forces an elder to pay for the abuse of his/ her own rights as a Canadian citizen. I'm an active pilot and do not require such testing to fly an aircraft

The upcoming discriminatory computer test for dementia which is based on the premise of "age presupposes dementia in all drivers over 65 years old" will force many thousands of non-computer literate Ontario seniors from their homes because they can no longer drive to take care of their activities of daily living, such as groceries, various appointments and charitable volunteer work. This will result in an extra burden on the provincial government of billions of extra taxpayers' dollars to build and staff a plethora of new seniors' homes to accomodate perfectly sane and healthy seniors who have been forced to give up their homes (especially in non-urban areas) due to this failed social experiment by the Ministry of Transport Ontario. It is common knowledge that Ontario seniors are the safest drivers in the province. Seniors do not engage in speeding, ignoring stop signs, aggressive driving, road rage, and other childish behaviours which are exhibited by younger, less mature drivers.

Support the petition ... it is discriminatory and the procedure does not necessarily reflect what is actually happening in relation to senior driving and accidents. Let's save the province some money.

Obtaining an exemption under the OHRA tells me that the Ontario government knew that this was discriminatory and has tried to circumvent challenges by doing this.
