End Deforestation in the Amazon
Deforestation in the Amazon is a major issue for not only the people around the area, but also us. The Amazon plays an important role of keeping us alive by providing medicinal plants, cleaning the air in the atmosphere, and storing over a billion metrics of carbon for humans. According to statistics, every minute thirty-six football fields worth of trees are being destroyed in the Amazon. In the past forty years we have lost more than twenty percent of the rainforest.
It's important to bring light onto this issue as the more awareness there is, the more the information will spread. We need big organisations to take action in order for a bigger impact to happen. We need a majority of people wanting to putting a stop to this issue, and there needs to be sustainable choices.
