Common core was designed to make it easier for our children to learn, yet the children are having a harder time understanding this concept. My daughter was placed in a lower math group due to the fact that she doesn't get it. Yet she has no trouble understanding things the "old fashion way." If it isn't broke why fix it? When she comes home with this homework and asks for my help I cannot do anything to help her and she gets stressed. Our kids should not be stressed in school. It is unhealthy.
