Common Core has been pushed on us in the same manner as the Govt healthcare Law with the American people having little or no knowledge of it. It pushes academic equality preventing individual schools from excelling across the nation. It teaches children about moral beliefs which should be left to the parents. Please see attached photo of school information sent home with my kindergartener, explaining "humility" as "giving away what you THINK you deserve". We should be teaching our children to work hard and EARN things on their own. Please stop Common Core in Texas public schools.
