Everyday in India, people are conducted immorally because of a fate they cannot alter. Higher castes of India exploit lower castes through theft, rape, harassment, threats- the list of obscene acts is limitless. It is estimated that every 18 minutes a Dalit is transgressed upon. The problem is obvious. India has even addressed the issue and generated a law against discrimination. Unfortunately, it has failed to end segregation between the castes.
