I feel like these bill boards are inappropriate and they make people hate their bodies!

I want to say to everyone thank you for the positivity! I've read to many negative comments and it takes a toll on my day. Thank you or supporti me and my decision to try and improve Marion. I want to start with the billboards and move to bigger and greater things! I want Marion to be known for more than being a drug area! When I was young it wasn't as bad as it is now and I hear stories my grandma tells me and I want to get back to some of that!! Please feel free to message me with anything and I'll get you when I can

I think these signs are ridiculous. Just because a person is skinny, doesn't mean they're healthy. There are bigger problems in Marion than this.

I am so proud of you ! I saw the post about the sign. It makes me sick to think people would make this all right to put up. I hope you can get it taken down!

This whole thing is run by the Marion Family YMCA which "oddly" enough on their list of resources to help with childhood obesity is the YMCA's website. The particular program for kids struggling with weight is $50 for the first kid and $35 for each additional child. Sounds like a guilt and shame way to garner business for the Y.

Please take down these horrible billboards. Not what we want 5th graders worried about, nor what we want visitors to Marion to see as they enter town. Your money can be used in better, more positive ways to help the community than negative body images. What's next -- bald men? Tall or short people? Wrinkled skin & aging? Skin color? Religion? Gender?

Great thing you are doing! Those billboards are just another reason to be disgusted with this town...who cares how big someone is...we are all human...we all deserve love and respect!

A disturbing and degrading way of trying to raise awareness. These billboards are projecting the wrong message to our youth. Take them down!

These billboards are counterproductive and demeaning.
